Our individual therapeutic yoga sessions provide a holistic approach to managing and alleviating various health conditions through the powerful practice of yoga. Led by Shradha, a certified Hatha yoga teacher and yoga therapist from India, these sessions are tailored to support healing for a range of conditions, including diabetes, back pain, hypertension, heart concerns, cancer, arthritis, asthma, digestive issues, thyroid imbalances, obesity, stress, anxiety, depression, and more.

After a detailed assessment, Shradha will work with each individual to create a customized practice plan that includes:

  • Foundational Yoga Asanas: Joint-free movements and gentle postures to promote flexibility and stability

  • Pranayama (Breath Control): Techniques to balance the nervous system, increase lung capacity, and reduce stress

  • Omkar and Chanting: Practices to cultivate inner peace and alignment through sound

  • Yogic Cleansing Techniques: Agnisar Dhouti (fire breath), Kapalbhati (frontal lobe cleansing), and Tratak (focused gazing) for physical and mental clarity

  • Bandhas (Locks): Including Jalandhar Bandha (chin lock), Moola Bandha (root lock), and Uddiyan Bandha (abdominal lock) to enhance energy flow

  • Mudras (Hand Gestures): Practices to channel and balance energy within the body

  • Meditation Techniques: Various approaches to mindfulness and mental relaxation

  • Yoga Nidra: Deep relaxation practice for rest and rejuvenation

  • Lifestyle Guidance: Suggestions for aligning daily habits to support wellness goals

Meet Shradha, 200hr YTT, 300 hr Yoga Therapy Training, 80 hrs Yin Yoga Training

Shradha’s introduction to yoga was in a pre-natal class, she found that yoga helped her immensely through her pregnancy and labour. shradha continued to practice yoga throughout motherhood, as it helped her to stay balanced emotionally, mentally, and of course physically. her passion for yoga leads her to complete a yoga certification program and was inspired to further her studies as she was inspired to become a yoga therapist so that she can share the benefits of yoga in a more personalized way with her clients.

Shradha strives to create space for therapeutic healing and encourages students to find a sense of grace and introspection in their practice. her lessons outline the anatomy of the human body and application of yoga practices in everyday lives.

Off the mat, Shradha is a mother of two beautiful daughters, loves painting mandala designs, dancing and works independently as an insurance advisor.
